Additional Info	How it started and, of course, why it's called Redonkulous: Legend Lowlife frame modified by cutting rear section under transmission off and then building a complete new rear frame seat section along with a new airride swingarm that drives rear tire from left side of bike through a custom jack shaft system. All work done in house at DLC. This bike started once again in the shop chair with a crazy idea of being the first shop to build a custom bike with a 30" wheel, all on a standard length front end with a custom airride system built in house. We here at DLC take pride in every custom build from start to finish.

 

Кастом-байк Redonkulous построен Дэном Хэлбергом из мастерской Deadline Customs (DLC). Как все начиналось, и откуда взялось название Redonkulous, спросите вы?

 

Конструкторы решили сделать отступление от принятого образа кастома, заразившись сумасшедшей идеей создать мотоцикл с 30" передним колесом, но оставили образу стандартную вилку и пневмоподвеску сзади. Базой кастома стала рама Legend Lowlife, у которой отрезали заднюю часть и взамен построили совершенно новую конструкцию с пневмоподвеской, сиденьем и левосторонним цепным приводом на колесо. Все работы для этого проекта выполнялись мастерской DLC.
Этот монстр кастомостроения напоминает разъяренного быка с огромными рогами-рулем, встающего на дыбы 30" передним колесом... каждому мужчине хочется покорить этого зверя, укратить и гордо восседать, внушая уважение и страх соперникам...

Additional Info	Started as an SPS rigid, I wanted something narrow, agile and sporty and was just going to change a few things. The only thing I kept was the front portion of the frame, the oil tank and engine. Ryan insisted on making everything he could from the tail light to the headlight and everything in between. He made the gas tank, all the mounts, mid-controls, seat pan everything... and did a great job!

Kemosabe Honda VT 750 B

Последнее создание Джима – трекер Kemosabe, принимавший участие в чемпионате мира - 2010 AMD World Championship. Изначально это была Honda VT750В 2002 года выпуска. Об остальном создатель сообщает, что почти удвоил лошадиное поголовье мотора и большинство частей были изготовлены в ручную. Kemosabe означает «верный друг», а AFT для него стала семьей. Ну а друзьями этой семьи стали пять кастомайзеров, которые приложили к нему руки и свои идеи – стайлинг от Cole Foster, поднимающийся руль от Kraus Motor Co.

Мотор Honda VT750 с воздушным охлаждением V-twin в стоке выдавал 45 л.с. Благодаря возросшей степени сжатия 11.5:1, поршням JE, настроенным впуском и выпуском от AFT сейчас показатель мощности на дино-стенде равняется 80 л.с.. Джим хочет на нем побить очередной рекорд скорости на Bonneville BUB Speed Trials и, похоже, ему это удастся сделать…

Additional Info	Over 2500 hours of labor were invested into this trike. It has 2 TV's, 2 amps, and 2 cameras. Over 50 yards of fiberglass went into stretching and widening the trike body. The front fender, fuel tank, bars, motor mount, fairing, speedo housing, exhaust system, sub box, TV housings, the actuated trunk door, rear bumper along with the highly modified trike body were all hand made in house at MRI. All the running, brake and turn signal lights are flush mounted in the body. The two amps combine for around 1000 watts.
